MRIT 102 - MRI PROC & PATHOPHYSIOLOGY I
102 MRI PROCEDURES and PATHOPHYSIOLOGY Fall 3(3-0) Provides an overview of imaging techniques related to the central nervous system and the musculoskeletal system. Specific clinical applications, coils available and their use, considerations in scan sequences, specific choices in the protocols, and positioning criteria are practiced. Anatomical structures and the plane that best demonstrates anatomy will be discussed as well as signal characteristics of normal and abnormal structures. Prerequisites: E,M,R, MRIT100 and MRIT101, C or better.
