228 COMPUTER APPLICATIONS IN MEDICAL IMAGING 3(3-0)
Computer applications in the radiologic sciences related to image capture, display, storage and distribution. The content imparts an understanding of the components, principles and operation of digital imaging systems, image data management and data manipulation (postprocessing). Additional content provides basic concepts of patient information management including medical records management concerns and privacy and regulatory issues.
Prerequisites: E,M,R, RADT143, 144, 145 all with a grade of C or better.
