210 THE CIVIL WAR AND RECONSTRUCTION 3 (3-0) The history of the United States Civil War and Reconstruction period. Topics include the causes of the war, slavery, military history, major battles, the impact of the war on slavery, the politics of Reconstruction, and the promise and problems of a biracial South.
